Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have 5 of my own children, the oldest being special needs. I started babysitting at 15 years old with my Aunt's son and daughter over night while their parents worked. I have several friends I have taken over care for during the day time and evenings so they could work, babies and younger children, one of which is special needs(autistic.) I also have some medical background and am familiar with CPR, the heimlich, etc. I have home schooled my children the last 7 years and we incorporate life skills into our academics as a fun-based way of learning and gaining hands-on experience for real life situations.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Crafts, creative snacks, board games/cards, music/singing/dancing, learning life skills & teaching responsibility (age appropriately), all things learning/development with colors,flashcards, counting, spelling, etc. Outside play at the park, hide and seek, tag, sports if applicable, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Having compassion and patience, learning about each child's individual needs, strengths, weaknesses, personality and how to meet them where they are and help them reach new heights through support, love and various ways of learning.

ADHD, ASD including non-verbal, learning disorders regarding academics, + socially and developmentally, tourette's, other disorders like anxiety/depression.
