Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a family nanny with a six, nine, and eleven year old for a little over a year. During the summer of 2021 I watched the girls everyday and it continued into the school year. During the summer I looked after the girls by making them meals, dressing them, and playing with them. During the school year I got the girls ready in the morning, made breakfast and packed lunch, dropped and picked the girls up from school and took them to practices; we finished out the day with homework and play time. I have also traveled by plane with the family as well. I would also do occasional date nights for the parents when asked. I nannied a family during college for date nights as well that had a six and nine year old. More recently, I was a pediatric night shift nursing assistant that cared for a two-year old boy on a trach. I looked after him all night performing nursing duties and also did light cleaning for the household.

I love singing with children, playing outside, going on adventures, laughing, reading books, doing puzzles, playing with their toys, and having fun!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love engaging with the children and seeing what makes them laugh. When I can make a child go from crying to laughing by just being there for them truly makes my day.
My experience with special needs children...
Recently, I was a pediatric night shift nursing assistant that cared for a two-year old boy on a trach. During the night shift I performed nursing tasks by taking vital signs, giving medications, watching his video monitor and cleaning equipment. In the morning, I changed the toddler and brushed his teeth. We played with light toys and read books while snuggling!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I loved when I got to take my three girls to the park for a few consecutive weeks and give batting lessons to one of my nanny children. She started to improve so much and I could not wait to go watch her play In her first game. I still remember getting to watch her at-bat when she hit a home run!!
