A little bit about me

Hello! I'm a 25 year old college graduate with a degree in psychology. Working with children is my passion, so much so, that I started my own non-profit that seeks to feed and educate children who live in poverty in Madagascar. I take nannying seriously, as I recognize that the role of a nanny is often the opportunity to leave a positive influence in a child's life. I am careful to observe the child's developmental process and seek to partner with parents in providing the best type of care that I can for their child. I see nannying as an opportunity to serve both the child and the family and so I take on tasks such as picking up around the house, laundry, and cleaning with joy. I love to do what I can to make the families lives easier.

I love arts and crafts, games, books" make-believe, and going outside. I love doing art with children and playing music as well. If there is something that the parent desires for me to reach their child, I am happy to take on the role of a teacher as well.

All and all, I love partnerships with the parents. When I come into their home, my desire is to be a team player in the ultimate goal of creating a safe environment for their child to thrive. If discussing faith is something that a parent wishes for me to reaffirm, I am comfortable with that, but only with the parents permission.
