A little bit about me

I have my BS in Family and Community Service with a Child Development concentration. I’m CPR/first aid certified and I’m certified as a level 11 Early Childhood Educator. I’m fully vaccinated against Covid-19. I currently nanny for a family in Raleigh and they have two boys, ages 3 & 6. This has been my first assignment as a nanny and has been so rewarding. I appreciate the close-knit feeling I have when I walk through the door, as if I’m a part of the family. It’s been great. I help a lot with controlling impulsive behaviors and I have self-deemed myself a potty training expert. They’ll go back to school in the fall, so my last day here will be August 20th. I’m looking to hit the ground running with my next match the following Monday.
Previously to nannying, I was a preschool teacher. I taught the 4 year old class. I learned a lot in this position, such as scheduling, solving conflict between children, providing developmentally appropriate activities, among many other skills.
