I am a 26-year-old professional currently living in the Bay Area, with a Bachelor of Arts in Management and one year of experience working in Big 4 Audit as PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

However, due to recent life events, I have decided to step away from the business world to refocus on personal well-being and pursue other meaningful opportunities.

I have worked extensively in childcare, including as a Teacher Assistant and as a Nanny for three families. These roles have deepened my understanding of early childhood development, education, and the importance of creating nurturing, structured environments for children to thrive in. The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny, for me, is building a strong and trusting relationship with both the children and their parents. It's about creating a safe, nurturing environment where the kids feel supported and can thrive emotionally, physically, and mentally. I love being able to watch them grow, learn, and hit new milestones, knowing that I played a part in their development.

It's not just about keeping them safe or sticking to a schedule, though that's crucial—it's about really understanding each child’s unique personality, their needs, and helping them explore the world in a way that makes them feel valued and confident. Being a reliable and caring presence in their lives, and knowing they look forward to our time together, is incredibly rewarding.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for a 7-year-old boy with a GI tube, where I was responsible for administering his daily nutrition, such as green beans, through the tube each morning. I also carefully monitored his activity levels to ensure he didn't sweat excessively, which could affect the integrity of his bandage and overall comfort.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a nanny was when I baked cookies with the kids. They were so excited to help measure the ingredients and mix the dough. We made a mess with flour everywhere, but their laughter made it so much fun. When the cookies came out of the oven, they were thrilled to decorate them with colorful sprinkles, and we all enjoyed the warm, freshly baked treats together. Seeing their pride in what they created was priceless.
