"Brittany cared for my 8 year old and 5year old during Covid when kids were home from school during Covid lockdown. She did everything from helping with schoolwork, to taking the kids out for exercise, meals, crafts, etc. My kids loved her because she was great with them! She is very responsible, arrives on time, takes safety and health concerns very seriously, and applied a lot of her training from the daycare to the way she looked after the children. We were fortunate to have her during that dire situation. Once the kids were able to return to school Brittany found another lucky family to serve."

"Brittany was a fun and compassionate employee. The kids loved her. Her teaching the kids yoga to help them center their emotions and calm their energy was fun and enjoyable. She has a lighthearted and calm demeanor and easy to get along with."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Private Nanny Contractor in Indiana and California. Administrative Assistant and teacher, at Rainbow Child Care Center (later bought by Kinder Care), Prev. Yoga Teacher for Omasana Yoga Studio, Freelance Photographer, as Crawford Studio Photography, Prev worked as Assistant Gymnastics/Dance Coach for Dance Discovery, and Toddler Teacher at Child Time Daycare.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Teaching kids through a variety of activities. Throughout a fun, yet structured, daily schedule. Using hands on activities and the imagination.
Such as: Science Exploration, Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Work Books, Building, Art & Crafts (using recycled items), Music, Outdoor Play, Gym-Time, Riding Bikes, Swimming Lessons, Yoga, Sensory Play, Dramatic Play, and more!
Providing consistency, but not being too strict. Allowing children to navigate, to find their true self. Providing them with helpful tools and giving them the building blocks. To inspire them to blossom, into their own person. Getting them outside and engaging with them. While tying in mini lessons, to keep them interested and excited.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I always want to be sure they feel like I am taking good care of them, making them feel happy, and safe. I try to be sure they stay busy, learning, and having lots of fun. While working in time for rest periods. So they do not feel over stimulated or discouraged. In addition, planning healthy meal times and snack breaks. I think this makes a big impact on their mood and behaviors.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with several children with development disabilities and physical disabilities. Such as: ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Varies Allergies, Asthma, Cerebral-palsy, Prone to Seizers, Down Syndrome, Autism, Behavioral Disorders, Sensory Disorders, Children with Injuries, Braces, and Broken Bones. I have also cared for many children with strict medication requirements and dietary restrictions. Infants and Toddlers who are teething, children that just had surgery, ear aches, and that are not feeling well. Etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is when….
I show up to work for the day and the child is jumping with Joy! It can take a little time, to build that type of relationship, at first.
I am always thrilled once we do! It gives my life value and true purpose.

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Fishers, IN: Olivia A.
My last gig was at Créme de la Créme Preschool in Fishers. Through them, I attained my CPR & First-Aid certificate (not set to expire until 2025). I resigned due to health challenges I was facing at that moment. Now that I'm feeling better, I'm enthusiastic about returning to babysitting under improved circumstances, especially with a reliable and committed mindset. I co-taught, as well as solo taught classrooms of 5-10 children, where I mostly worked with infants, toddlers and preschoolers. I have open availability and can provide references. I'm open to participating in a phone or in-person interview, as well as undergoing an official government background check. I can cook, read stories, help with homework, take care of sick children, take care of children with special needs, watch pets and do light housework whenever necessary. I'm looking forward to meeting and establishing a long-term professional relationship with my employer(s).
