I have cared for children from infants through early teens. I started helping my grandmother babysit my cousin when I was 10 years old. When I turned 12, I started babysitting him by myself. In high school I took a Careers In Education course in which I interned in a pre-k classroom. I have taken a few babysitting courses and am currently enrolled in early childhood education courses. I have volunteered in a head start classroom for about 4 years and then got hired on as an aide in the early head start classrooms before I worked as a lead teacher for about a year and a half as well as babysitting for parents in the evenings, weekends, and days off school. I currently work as an instructional assistant in the public schools. I have cared for children with special needs. I have watched children from birth to 13 years I have experience with twins and I am CPR certified. I really enjoy playing and spending time with the kids while they learn.
