Love taking walks that involve going to do something especially fun like the park, or bringing chalk or soccer balls! I love spending time with them as they play with their favorite toys at home as well.
My experience with special needs children...
I have quite a few hours volunteering from when I was first able to volunteer as a student. My mom is a special education coordinator and has been in the special needs field her entire teaching career. With this, I was around special needs children frequently and grew to love working with children with special needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories of being a nanny is this… one day I sent the parents of three beautiful children a picture of all of them at the park. This was my first real nanny job as well :). This picture was taken when I first started. 2 years later on the same exact day the mom sent me a recreated picture in the same spot. It felt so nice to see how much they grew in a very short 2 years.
