Hi! I’m a former teacher that had my first baby in June. Since I’ll be home with my little one, I’d love to care for another family as well!

I have a well-rounded background in childcare, from my early babysitting jobs to working as a social worker, nanny and au pair, and now as a teacher. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have a strong background in childcare, starting with babysitting when I was younger, then working as an au pair, where I gained hands-on experience caring for children in a home setting abroad. I also worked as a social worker supporting children of all ages and later became a teacher, creating structured, engaging, and nurturing environments for young learners.

I enjoy engaging children in a mix of fun and educational activities, such as reading, sensory play, arts and crafts, outdoor exploration, and early learning games. I also value free play, as it fosters creativity, independence, and problem-solving skills. Along with structured activities, I love giving children the space to explore, use their imaginations, and follow their own interests. My goal is to create a balanced environment where kids feel happy, secure, and excited to learn!

The most important part of being a nanny is building trust and creating a safe, loving environment where children can grow and thrive. It’s about understanding each child’s individual needs, offering consistent care, and being a positive, nurturing influence in their lives. I believe in creating meaningful connections with both the children and their families, ensuring everyone feels supported, valued, and heard.

My experience with special needs children...

I have extensive experience working with children with special needs, including students with speech and reading disorders, as well as those with autism. As a current dyslexia teacher, I have a strong understanding of how to provide tailored support to help children overcome challenges with learning and communication. I’m passionate about creating an inclusive, supportive environment where every child can thrive at their own pace.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was during my time as an au pair in Spain when COVID hit. My host family was incredibly supportive, asking me to stay with them during the pandemic, and I became a true part of their family. Later, when I got married in Spain, I invited them to the wedding, and though they couldn’t attend, we’ve stayed in touch ever since. The connection we built remains one of my fondest memories, and it reminds me of the special relationships that can form through caregiving.
