Being a nanny means to step in and help parents do the hardest parts of raising children, while also having a good time and taking care of the children as if they’re your own. It’s important to keep the children as close to your heart as possible and know that they are your responsibility. It’s important to have fun, while also being a good influence on the child.

I have an autistic cousin of whom I grew up around, and I have worked with children with down syndrome, autism, and other disabilities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
A child I used to watch also had a family dog. The dog and the child would often play together and it was always so sweet to see them play. The child would do something like touch the dog’s nose, and the dog would run away and then come back, which would make the child laugh so hard. They had plenty of cute moments, and it always warmed my heart.
