Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked with children since I was a teenager. In high school, I was in the Ready, Set, Teach program where I worked in various elementary school classrooms during the school day as a teacher intern. I volunteered at the Green Oaks School where I worked with special needs teens and adults. I graduated with my degree in Elementary Education in December 2015. I worked as a substitute teacher in two school districts until I earned a full time teaching position as a second grade teacher. After teaching for one year, I worked as a private tutor with students from elementary to high school in a variety of subjects.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy taking children on outings to the park, library, zoo, etc. I believe is important for children to get out have new experiences that allow them to explore the world and learn. I also love creating sensory bins, paintings, and planning activities that align with the child's interests.

My experience with special needs children includes infants/toddlers with feeding difficulties, developmental delays, and sensory processing disorder.
