A little bit about me

Over the years as I've worked in childcare, my love for children has grown. I've worked in many different settings such as Sunday school care, afterschool care and being a nanny for 4 kids. Seeing a kid smile and light up at the sight of something fun is what I enjoy most. Childhood is something you only experience once so why not make it magical. When I'm not working with the kiddos, I'm constantly in the kitchen cooking/baking up a storm or reading a book. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

This last summer I worked with 4 kids from 8am-5pm. I've also been on the payroll for childcare for my church since I was 13 (I am 18). Along with that, I would pick up kids from school and watch them until their parents got off work.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Taking them to the park, swimming, baking desserts, and even driving to classes.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Every time I drove the kids to one of their summer activities I would put on an audiobook. Their favorite one was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. So, I decided to surprise them with a Back-to-School Party that was Willy Wonka Themed. They were so excited to see all the special treats I made. We even got to watch the movie, which they loved.
