The most important part about being a nanny is to be loving and understanding. Children are still learning and need encouragement and guidance which in turn comes with lots of patience and room for error.

I was a volunteer at Easter Seals, an accredited school to benefit children with special needs.

I still have the video of one of the children I watched at the time learning and succeeding at riding her bike without training wheels for the first time. A truly amazing and happy day to say the least, her father was very proud when he arrived home from work!
