Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have done babysitting for children of ages ranging from 2 months to 10 years old. With those children, I’ve had experiences with one-time jobs, weekly date nights, and 40 hour weeks. I have 4 younger siblings who I have babysat and entertained my whole life. I have also volunteered many hours at the Boys and Girls club and at my local elementary school. I’m currently in school to become a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Arts and crafts, puzzles, school work and tutoring, reading books, make believe, going on walks, playing outside, science experiments. As long as they enjoy doing it, it doesn’t make too much of a mess, and they are safe, I love doing any activities with kids- especially if there is a learning aspect involved.
My experience with special needs children...
I have lots of experience with children with speech delays, premature infants, and even hyper-active 5 year old twins. I have also had experience with dietary restrictions and allergies, as well as post-surgery care.
