I have childcare experience through occasional babysitting with children ranging from 6 months to 10 years old. I also worked at a daycare for 6 months as a floater, which gave me experience with children ages 0–12, although most of my time was spent with toddlers around ages 1 to early 2s. During this time, I also spent time in an NC Pre-K classroom where I interacted with children daily during center time and supported play-based learning and social interaction.
Most recently, I completed a semester-long internship at a children’s playspace designed for children ages 0–5. During my internship, I created caregiver play guides intended to encourage caregiver-child interaction and support intentional learning opportunities through play.

I’m president of Science National Honor Society, captain of the Riverbend Girl’s Soccer Team, and a Soprano 2 in the top choir at my school.
