Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked on a farm with a family that had two kids. Tending to the gardens, and working on various building projects while also being a figure that the kiddos could rely on was very rewarding. Even though i wasnt there as a nanny but as a farmwork volunteer, it did reignite my spark for childcare. Seeing the kids around nature, their curiousity and complete disregard for the rules adults are familiar with was very amusing and a great learning experience.

Being there for the little ones in any way i can. But nannying isnt just about the kids, its about the parent(s) too, so taking care of all and being part of a team to help raise young minds is very important to me.

I was feeling down and the youngest of the two kids i live with came up to me and held my hand. She walked with me all the way up to the car and didnt let go once. Such a small gesture on her part completely lightened me up, she probably didnt even notice haha. Kids are incredible.
