In high school I did a program called “Ready, Set, Teach” after graduation, I earned a Teacher Aide Certification. I worked my first childcare setting at 18 and never went to anything else since. I have a total of a little over 4 years of childcare experience. I do follow the Texas Child Care Law to the exact point, even further because my passion is helping kiddos grow. They are our future.

The most important part about taking care of children in general is to always remember, the kids watch everything. The way you talk, walk, act, etc. Adults are the biggest role models, and every kid has a different background.

I have a year working with special needs, but I have baby sat for a family with special needs. I know to treat those children as if they are normal and to never treat them differently.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I’ve never been a nanny, but I can say while working in childcare my favorite moment has to been when I came up with a dance and song for the kiddos to get their after nap jitters out. The children loved it so much, it became a routine for them.
