I have been fortunate to care for a little boy since he was a new born, and I still occasionally babysit him today - he is now 9 years old! I also care for his 5 year old brother. Even though they are older now, we still have a great relationship. I still get texts from him asking if I can come hang out, ride bikes, or play 4 square, which I think is one of the sweetest parts of having been part of their lives for so long. Being able to watch them grow over the years has been such a rewarding experience and has given me a great understanding of how children’s needs change as they grow.
