Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I'm in school to become an educator, and I worked as a Saf-t Swim instructor for about 2 years. As an instructor my duties were to keep the environment clean and safe, to teach children to be safe in the water, (teaching them to climb in and out safely, no running by the pool, etc.) and teach them to love it.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I have two little sisters, so besides experience I have with babysitting, I grew up learning to keep my sisters busy and entertained. I have a sister thats 2 years old, and during the pandemic keeping her entertained is hard because she hasn't been around children her age much. But I love to keep her happy, and play with her. She loves to run around, especially outside, she loves playground swings, and over the summer I started teaching her to swim, and she loved the water. Now in the winter months keeping her entertained isn't as easy as just going outside and running around, but now that she has just started talking, she enjoys when I read to her, and loves playing kitchen, and helping me make smoothies.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Taking care of the child, and keeping them happy. I hope to provide gentle, nurturing, happy memories as a nanny.

I have some experience with special needs children. I gained some experience when I worked at Saf-t Swim, which was definitely a challenge being in the water, but I always did well.
