I have volunteered to work with children like reading to them I have gone to a couple different nursing homes where grandchildren were visiting and we ran a little event where they could draw and dress up and do things with their grandparent!

I love to draw and color with the kids I like doing walks and bike rides and trying different sports. I also love baking and reading and trying different things with them!

I think being able to understand the kids matters a lot but also being able to draw a line with them where they understand you can’t do everything with them because you aren’t their parent. But also showing them you still care for them.

One time I was babysitting a little boy around 3 years old and he was really smart he was pretty much able to talk but he could pronounce my name so he called me birdy for the longest time and to me it was really sweet.
