A little bit about me

Hi! I'm Caden (or Cade, if you'd prefer). I'm 19 and have been babysitting, paid and unpaid, for a decade. I've got 11 younger siblings with multiple being special needs, so there's plenty of experience under my belt. Whether you're going out on the town, you just need some you time, you're a working parent, or maybe you only need a tutor, I'm your person. I look forward to working with you!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I had a large roll in raising siblings and cousins alike when I was growing up. On top of that, I've always taken on older sibling type roles with my peers (be it at school or work). I also took the opportunity I was granted to participate in my high-school's grandparents' day to be a friend to the kiddos who didn't have their person present.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I'm a nerd! I love books, and I'm more than happy to read (or be read to if they're independent and like doing things themselves). I'm big on history, science, and crafts, so putting educational projects together (whilst keeping it fun) may be expected. Nice days are great opportunities for field trips to the park or library. I still have Legos from my childhood if you're raising a future architect as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Listen to the kids! If they have a problem, it needs to be known and addressed between all parties. Their well-being always comes first.

My experience with special needs children...

I, myself, am on the spectrum and just happen to be relatively high functioning. I have four autistic brothers as well at varying levels of need. You can expect your child will be taken seriously and they will always be listened to.
