A little bit about me

Ever since I was young, I've always been good with younger children and have been able to get them to open up to me. I give them lots of love and respect, but also teach them to do the same and to use their manners. Even when working a cashier job, I have been able to cheer up children or babies that are with my customers. I even have had kids that were neighbors of children I was the caregiver for that would want to play with me, give me gifts like drawings or have me watch over them. One girl in particular begged her parents to have me come instead of to drop her off with her aunt.
I worked with three boys who loved to rough house for nearly an entire year and even had a few nights with a duo of kids, one of them had autism, so I'd like to think that I am pretty capable at handling most situations. I also have a lot of experiences with most animals and am not at all squeamish.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've had several babysitting/caregiver jobs as well as occasionally watched my niece, whom I lived with since her birth. I also worked at a Summer Camp. My family also owns a Montessori school and my mother was head director of infants and toddlers.
Most of my own experience has been with adolescents, not as much of infants/toddlers.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I'm good with arts and crafts, I'm physically active and easily able to keep up, I am very encouraging of literature and occasionally write my own children's books, and I know video games and action/comic stuff so I can be very relatable despite gender.
