More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My first time caring for children was assisting my mother with my younger siblings, I was changing diapers by the age of 6!
As I have grown up I have also worked as an assistant teacher, as well as a student teacher (full time teacher for a couple months period, unpaid) in the art classroom. Also children's theatre camps and after school programs. Finally I have also had a fair share of babysitting experience and actually worked fulltime as a nanny for a beautiful toddler named peggy. I spent Monday-Friday 9:30-5:30 with her for a year (she was 6-18months) and love every minute of it.
I currently work in albuquerque caring for disabled children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
art of all mediums, music and playing instruments/dancing/singing, going for adventures or picnics in nature, playing at parks, baking, hair and makeup (dress up type things), costume making, and exploring their interests and helping them learn about what they are into (anything from bugs to volcanos, space to farming, etc).

The most important part about being a nanny...
It is hard to choose 1 thing as there are so many important things a nanny must bring to the table, however I feel ensuring the children's health (both mental/emotional and physical) and safety are in good hands is most important.
My experience with special needs children...
I have taught children with a variety of special needs from wheelchairs to emotional needs to assisted walking to developmental disabilities. When I worked at George Washington Elementary in Kingston, I had children with a wide variety of needs and really did see it all!
