More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I cared for some of my mothers friends children all through high school. Once I started college I began caring for the children that are apart of my grandparents One Love program. I teach them tennis, help with homework, teach them ASL, play with them and I absolutely love it.

When it comes to inside activities I love to bake,draw,read,play board games, make forts, play video games if allowed as well as dress up and make believe.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny I think is establishing a relationship and connection with the whole family not just the children. This is not just a job you are trusted to care of precious children and that is a huge responsibility. So I think it is crucial to have a level of not only trust but love with the entire family.
My experience with special needs children...
I have taken care of my brother who is autistic. He is 12 years old but mentally only about 7 years old. So over time I have learned how to take care of him and what works best for him and his strengths and weaknesses. I always make sure that he does not feel like there’s something wrong with him and that he knows he’s loved.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My most memorable moment is when I was able to go back and watch children that I had not seen for months. When I returned home after the spring semester I went back to see them. They did not know when I was coming back so I surprised them and their reaction was everything. They just paused for a second and ran to me and almost knocked me over. They would not let go of me and wanted to tell me all about what happened while I was away.
