As part of my clinical rotations I cared for children in the hospital and in daycare. I work as a part time preschool music teacher and regularly care for my younger cousins. I have experience babysitting and tutoring younger kids as well.

Music is my biggest passion, and I actively teach singing and piano. I also enjoy making teas and lemonades and going out for picnics with the little ones! I never get tired of listening to their amazing stories and spending time outside.

I think the most important part of being a nanny is the connection. As a social person, I thrive off of other’s stories and interests. Listening to these exciting moments makes my day. I want the same for nannying- I want to connect with those I am around to make sure we create a safe place that is also comforting, protected, and energetic!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment was when I was taking my younger cousins to go shopping over the holidays! They were so excited because my sister and I (we were the ones babysitting) promised to gift them something for Christmas. After a delicious lunch and custom Arnold Palmers from our favorite hometown tea shop, we went to Bath and Body Works, Target, and other clothing stores, in search of gifts for each other. When we finished the spree, my youngest cousin said, "We should do a haul!" My sister and I were confused, "What's that?" She replied, "It's when we show someone all the stuff we got and how cool we are!" I shrugged, "Sounds good to me!" My youngest proceeds to pull out her iPad and record a video to our aunt, excitedly showing off her stuff, but also saying how cool the rest of us were and showing off our "haul" as well! Our gifts to each other were so sweet and thoughtful, and we all agreed to take a nap before dinner because shopping takes up a lot of energy!
