I have nannied/babysat children since middle school. In high school I coached 10 and 12U volleyball. In college I volunteered with the children's ministry at my church and loved getting to share the gospel with the littles! I have a baby boy who was born in April of this year as well!

My experience with special needs children...
While volunteering at my church's children's ministry I worked with children who had special needs including autism, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome. Every one of those kids left a lasting impact on me and were a blessing to get to meet and work with!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was when I worked at a daycare. All of the 2 and 3 year olds were full of energy so I sat down with a small group of them and started reading their favorite book. Within minutes the whole class was all cuddled in around me listening to the book. The room was peaceful, some of them started dosing off, and it was the sweetest moment to look around and see the littles so content and calm.
