Seeing a child grow and advance to milestones that they can achieve through my help. Children need a adult until 18 by law but really they will never stop needing us. A nurture caring person will always be needed in there life and that is what is most important to me to be that!
My experience with special needs children...
Being bonded to special needs children since I was in kindergarten. I met a friend names Corey who needed a inclusion teacher Ms.Audra. Yhe neighborhood I lived in as a child ,I ran into Ms.Audra who also lived there. Ever since then Ms.Audra has been a guiding light to me in special needs children. Corey also had the same birthday as me and that's what really made me gravitate to him. God shows me the way all the time and I know the bond of specials needs children will never leave me! A encounter as a Assistant teacher I observed a child who had specials needs and the daycare failed her tremendously. She was 2 years old stuck in a 1 year old class. With delayed development she was pushed to the side. I was a strong advocate for the sweet girl. I assertively spoke with management several occasions to get her in a special needs school. Unfortunately they wanted to just accept her families money and no proper care. Eventually her parents listened to me and got her the proper care.

Seeing a child be there true self will always be my most cherished moment. There are plenty of unique personalities but there is nothing like being your own true self. Thus anyone changing a child's demeanor would be a crime! Every child wants to be who they were created to be ! Who are you to change that?
