In high school I was a lifeguard while also volunteering as an aid at beach lifeguarding camps, which were 100% some of my favorite memories. We taught beach safety in fun ways for kids by incorporating games into learning, first aid, as well as the different injuries and how to combat them in emergencies. This job taught me how to balance fun and learning as well as incorporating the two!
