The most important part about being a nanny is making the kid feel comfortable with me. Missing your parents it's hard and be left with a stranger is even harder. That's why for me is essential to connect with the kid so I'm a friend to them rather than a stranger.

I sometimes take care of my cousin's daughter that is a little behand for her age. I helped her with homework, i played with her, I watched after her, etc.
