More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I helped with child care from when the child was 1-4 years of age. And helped them transition into preschool having the alphabet down and numbers 1-50 down with out needed extra assistance.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing art projects with the kids, mini science experiments (safe for all ages), going to the park, going to aquariums, museums, libraries, and going to kid friendly places around the area!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny to me especially is making sure the kids can express the things that they like and want to do in a healthy way! I also think it is important for them to know that their parents are there for them even when they are busy. Children are the apple of many parents eye and they deserve the world. Us nanny's help step in when the parents still want to give the best for their child but are unable to be everywhere at once!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite memories with one of the children I cared for is when we did a science experiment. (You have a small dish with about 2 inches of milk. Then you put a few drops of food dye of the child's choice in the milk. Then you have a q-tip and put some dawn dish soap on the q-tip. After that is all ready you put the q-tip in the milk and it makes a reaction of the milk and food dye.)
As we put the food dye and milk in the child I was caring for went and got a straw and instead of doing the experiment the put the soap mixed it with the milk and then started blowing bubbles into the mixture. We both then had more fun doing the bubbles then the experiment! We could have just started out with just doing the bubbles thing! They were occupied with that for about 3 hours! (I did change the milk into water and just added some soap into the water to make the bubbles appear more!)
