Thank you for considering me to care for your kiddos! It’s a huge responsibility and privilege that I never take lightly. Caring for youngsters has been my favorite job I’ve ever had. I have 8 years childcare and household management experience watching all ages of children from infants to teenagers. My longest nannying job was for three children whose parents were both full time anesthesiologists. I did everything from cooking, cleaning, dropping off and picking up from school, running errands, planning outings for the kids, and everything in between! I volunteered with CASA of Travis County in Austin, TX for 2 and a half years. I worked on the Early Family Engagement team, so I had the opportunity to work with many kids and families. My favorite cases to do were with 3 and unders, but I was comfortable with any age. Advocating for the little ones I worked with was one of the most fulfilling things I've ever done.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being outside and in the sun, swimming, playing in the yard or at the park, kicking a soccer ball or throwing a baseball (or any ball, really), jumping on the trampoline, and going for a walk. Indoors I love including kids in cooking and baking, board games, crafts, coloring/drawing, legos, and video games,

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is communication with parents and children. Especially at first, I will ask a lot of questions to make sure that I understand how you run your home and how to best care for your children. I practice gentle and patient communication with kids and work on redirecting, giving options, and including them in decisions.
