A little bit about me

I currently hold a B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development in an educational context. I have worked with children for a little over 3 years now. I work as a Registered Behavior Technician for the past 3 years, and have lots of experience with special needs kids (along with an RBT certification), as well as worked in a preschool setting as a student assistant throughout college. I have tended to children of many ages ranging between 6 months-14 Years. I am also a proud aunt to two little girls that I have taken care of since they were first born! I have a big love for kids, which is why I chose to study their minds and early developmental process!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked as Behavioral Therapist for 3 years caring for children with behavioral challenges ages 1-14. I also worked in a daycare classroom for a year working with children 5mos-5 years old. Both positions include diaper changes, routine feeding, behavior management, and age appropriate play.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Interactive diys. I find children have the most fun when they are able to craft something that they can later interact with. For example, one of my favorite crafts is a popsicle sticks with ribbon glued to the end. Children can choose lengths, colors, designs. Once finished, they can take it outside to run with while it’s blows in the wind!
