As mentioned earlier, I have a lot of younger family members that I cared for over the years. Quite a few of my aunts and uncles either served in the military or had work overseas, so I grew up with a lot of "siblings" while they were away. I've also volunteered countless times at my church, and work in the Sunday School department of Children's Ministries.

Arts and Crafts, Games, Playing outside, and Reading with them are definitely my favorite activities.

That I leave a positive impact on the child. Children are so easily influenced and it's important that during their early stages that they are most heavily influenced by good values and caring people.

I babysat a young boy who loved to play basketball throughout his childhood and into his early teen years. He recently called me to tell me he received an offer to play on the USA National U16 Basketball Team at age 14. So so proud of that kid.
