I have babysat throughout high school for many different families and I have experience in elder care. I recently cared for a family that had two nonverbal twin boys with autism, and I worked in the nursery of a daycare over the summer!

The most important part about being a nanny...
I think being a nanny is a very serious job. We are in charge of caring for peoples children, one of the most precious things. It’s important to be cautious and vigilant. It’s also important to help kids as they’re growing! Being active with them, stimulating the brain with fun learning activities, and also just being a trusted caretaker!
My experience with special needs children...
I worked with two nonverbal twin boys that had Autism, and I also cared for a girl that sometimes had seizures.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment has been when I worked with my twins who had autism. I loved getting to know them and learn about their world. They were also the sweetest with their little bouts of affection, which I treasured so much!
