"Candice worked for us as a nanny and also as a house sitter for a little over a year. She is wonderful with kids. Her own are a handful and she is incredible with them but she also is very inclusive and treated our son like her own. Candice always had them doing different crafts and lots of outside time and even cooked each of them their own foods based on what they liked and would eat. We have an air bnb and when we were out of town she fed our cats and handled the trash: she also handled our laundry, flipped the rooms for guests and watched the mail. I highly recommend her for any nanny or house sitter position."

I have 3 children of my own, ages 21, 6 and 4. Ive been babysitting children since age 12. At age 15 i Briefly worked at EasterSeals in Illinois with my main client having a feeding tube that needed changing as well as feedings. After highschool I started working with children and adults with mental disabilities, working my way up to managing a group hime with 4 clients and 15+ employees. Comfortable with all ages and abilities.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Anything outside, hiking beautiful trails, spending the day near the water, making homemade adventure/ninja courses in the yard. Love creating, being active and learning through all of this.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Remembering that children or children! They don't look at the world the same as we do a little problems to us are huge problems to them and we need to step into their shoes and see where they're coming from, there's always a reason for tantrums and you just need to take the time and patience to figure it out and help fix it and diffuse whatever situation. Kiddos truly are our future and everyone who enters theirs lives will impact their future in on eway or another so i always do my best to become a lasting positive memory in all my kiddos futures
