I have babysitting experience. For the past two years, I have been babysitting for a family with four children, ages 4, 9, 10, and 11. I worked as a counselor at a camp in Big Bear for 6 months. On summer breaks during college, I worked at two different summer camps. Before that, I worked at a home day care for almost 2 years.

I enjoy doing activities that are both fun and developmentally appropriate, such as reading, arts and crafts, sensory play, music and movement, outdoor play, walks, and age-appropriate games. I have experience working with children with special needs in several settings. I worked at a summer camp serving individuals with special needs, have babysat a child with special needs, and currently work at a childcare center where I care for children with a variety of needs. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, understanding each child as an individual, and adapting activities and routines to help every child feel comfortable and supported.
