I have babysitting experience. For the past two years, I have been babysitting for a family with four children, ages 4, 9, 10, and 11. I worked as a counselor at a camp in Big Bear for 6 months. On summer breaks during college, I worked at two different summer camps. Before that, I worked at a home day care for almost 2 years.

I enjoy doing activities that are both fun and developmentally appropriate, such as reading, arts and crafts, sensory play, music and movement, outdoor play, walks, and age-appropriate games. I especially love finding simple ways to make everyday moments engaging while encouraging children to explore, learn, and build confidence.

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and dependable environment where a child can feel comfortable being themselves. A nanny is someone parents trust with one of the most important parts of their lives, so I take that responsibility seriously. I want children to feel supported and cared for while also giving parents peace of mind that their child is in good hands.

I have experience working with children with special needs in several settings. I worked at a summer camp serving individuals with special needs, have babysat a child with special needs, and currently work at a childcare center where I care for children with a variety of needs. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, understanding each child as an individual, and adapting activities and routines to help every child feel comfortable and supported.

My favorite moments are when a child becomes comfortable enough with me to truly let their personality shine. I love seeing their excitement when they learn something new, accomplish something they’ve been working on, or simply come running over to share something with me. Those little moments are what make working with children so rewarding.
