More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked as a nanny for multiple families, a middle school reading intervention tutor, and a child welfare social worker for three years. These experiences allowed me to support children across academic, emotional, and developmental needs. I am especially skilled in building trust, maintaining structure, and creating nurturing environments where children feel valued and encouraged to succeed.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love incorporating sensory activities into the day because they’re both educational and fun! Whether it’s playing with textured materials like playdough, slime, or sand, or creating sensory bins filled with rice, beans, or water beads, I find that these activities help children explore different textures, colors, and sounds while improving their fine motor skills and focus.
I also enjoy crafting activities that allow for creativity, like painting, building with blocks, or making DIY sensory bottles. For outdoor play, nature walks or scavenger hunts provide a great opportunity to engage the senses while encouraging curiosity and physical activity. Above all, I make sure that every activity is designed to help the kids learn through play in a way that feels natural and exciting!

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part is creating a safe, loving space where children can truly be themselves, explore, and grow. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a child’s face light up when they learn something new or when you see their confidence blossom through simple, everyday moments. I love building that bond of trust and knowing I’m helping shape their emotional, social, and cognitive development in a positive way.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny comes from witnessing the trust and connection I’ve built with the children I care for. Having worked in child welfare, I’ve seen firsthand how some children face challenges that can make them hesitant or withdrawn. So, when I’m able to create a space where a child feels safe, valued, and genuinely happy—whether it’s during a fun activity or just a quiet moment of comfort—it’s incredibly meaningful to me. Those moments remind me of how important it is to nurture their emotional well-being and provide a stable, loving presence, especially when they've been through difficult experiences.
