A little bit about me

I've been babysitting for over a decade and nannying for half that. Most of my nanny experience is with infants-toddlers (I typically stayed until they began preschool) but prior to that I worked primarily with elementary and middle schoolers. I am currently a lifeguard and swim instructor but my location isn't open full-time so I'd like to supplement that job with more childcare. It's my passion. I thrive teaching children and if I may brag a bit, I'm fantastic at it. My last nanny child knew her full name and home address before the age of two. I like to make learning fun!

Teaching autonomy and self-respect- which necessarily require a child to develop empathy for others as well. I think my job is to facilitate great adults, not just the great kids they already are.
