More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In high school I was a mother’s helper for a child from birth to 6yrs old.
In 2021 I was a part-time nanny for another child from birth to 1yr old. I have held many babysitting jobs over the years and love to spend time with the kids at my church or hang out with my friend’s kiddos.
I have been a teachers helper with grades 1-4, helped my church nursery and children’s ministries, and with the youth group.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Playing games, building blanket forts, going on walks/bike rides, reading books, exploring nature, going to the park, going to the library, baking/cooking and generally just spending quality time and pouring into who they are going to grow up to be.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Honesty and building trust between nanny & parents and nanny & child. Without trust a relationship goes no where and there is no common ground. Without honesty no trust can be built. I think it’s really important to talk about things that are and aren’t working, communicating changes to all parties involved, and to make sure everyone is on the same page.
I think it’s equally important to put the child first. What is going to encourage them to be the best possible them they can be? And working together to make sure that child feels seen and loved for who they are.

My experience with special needs children...
I have been blessed by the joy that children with special needs bring to the world through interactions at church and camp, but I have never been in a care position.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Watching the children I’ve cared for grow up into their own personalities, hearing them talk about their days and the things they enjoy in life, and being able to look at the world through their innocent joyful eyes.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Madison, WI: Bella B.
I am 23 years old and originally from Door County, WI. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May, with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Health Equity! I'm currently looking into applying for Nursing schools for this coming fall, hoping to work with children in my future career. I currently live in Madison, and am looking for a nannying job! I am passionate about working with children and have about ten years of experience in babysitting and working in similar caregiving roles. Each summer, I volunteer a week of counseling at a camp called Camp Kesem. Here, we raise money year round for children who have parents affected by cancer. Being able to be there for these children each summer has brought me so much joy, since I was once in their shoes. I believe that my experience along with being CPR certified, my health education background, and loving nature, would allow me to provide a safe environment for your children! I also have my own car as well.

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Madison, WI: Ally P.
Hello! My name is Allyson Pierce! I grew up with three sisters, so I’ve always been surrounded by a lot of energy and learned early on how to take care of others. I’ve spent years babysitting for different families and even have experience doing in-home care for the elderly, so helping people comes naturally to me.
I’m super active and love being outdoors, whether it’s hiking, playing sports, or just soaking up some sunshine. I’m reliable, love staying organized, and have my own transportation, so I’m always ready to help out wherever I’m needed.
I’m all about creating a positive and fun environment for the people around me. Whether it’s keeping kids entertained, lending a hand, or just being someone you can count on, I always try to put my heart into everything I do. I’d love to connect with people who need a little extra help or just want someone they can trust!
