Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My junior year of high school I had the opportunity to student teach a fifth grade class. The teacher I would help out would leave me with the kids and I would have to look over 25 10 year olds. I was also trusted with taking care of my 9 and 6 year old cousin for three weeks while their parents were out of town.

I love finding cute little crafts or activities I can do with the kids. Like making paper snowflakes, going to a park, or even taking a walk outside for some exercise!
My experience with special needs children...
In my junior year of high school I took a class called Exceptionalities 101, it's where I would help the kids with special needs and help them learn how to act in a professional kind of setting and how to earn a job. I would be assigned to be the helper of one kid and I learned how to communicate with him and teach him to work efficiently and correctly! I also became friends with this student so when it came to Senior year he would always give me a hug whenever he saw me in the hallways of my high school.
