A little bit about me

I am warm, caring and enjoy children. I have extensive experience with young and elementary age children. I have worked recently with four families until their children no longer need Nanny care. I was responsible for all activities including music and dance lessons, school functions, parties and some medical appointments. They have all become my extended family. I am flexible and will clean up and prepare meals for the children.
While I prefer working weekdays, I am flexible regarding number of hours and days to meet the needs of the children and family. I am willing to help out with housework and meal preparation for the children, but caring for the children is my top priority. I also have worked with families with pets and can assist but my primary focus is the best care of your children.

I enjoy indoor and outdoor activities including reading, games (Playing and creating them), art, puzzles, the playground and park, playdates, visiting museums and zoos and lunches out.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It is most important to me to take good care of the children and help them grow while also being kids and having fun. I enjoy helping them develop friendships with other children. I want to fit into the family and work collaboratively at the direction of the parents.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with several infants that were premature who were very susceptible to illness. I have worked with special needs children in my volunteer work at the Church.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Several years ago my most recent four families arranged a surprise party at the zoo for my birthday. Seeing the looks of anticipation on the children's faces when they yelled surprise is a special moment I will not forget. These young children kept this event a surprise for several weeks!
