Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have extensive experience with infants. In the US, I cared for a 1-year-old girl in Brooklyn. Our days were filled with outings to playgrounds, libraries, and parks. After lunch and her nap, I managed household tasks before engaging in arts and crafts and music sessions upon her awakening. In Westchester, Bronxville, I cared for a family of four, overseeing the needs of an 11-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl. From school pickups to organizing activities and meals, I ensured their well-being. In Mozambique, I nurtured a 3-month-old baby, tending to her feeding, sleep, play, and diapering needs.

I love going to parks, playgrounds, museums and libraries. I also enjoy activities like reading books, playing songs and dance around the house. Find educational activities that will improve their development.

I think the most important part about being a nanny is delivering my job, in a way that I make the parents happy and the children happy to. Build trust, and relationships are also important .

I worked at a spacial needs camp at Washington State, I was able to work directly with the special need people and help them on a daily basis. I did feeding, personal care, creative activities and more.

One of my favorite nanny moments was when I was taking care of an 11 year old boy, and he suddenly says “I love you “ that was in a rush way, but I got it hahaha. I went to hug him, because that meant a lot to me.

So, I’m a Portuguese speaker, and I used to repeat Portuguese words to the girl I used to take care of, I couldn’t help but notice that she was repeating the same words hahaha she was speaking Portuguese with me 🤭
