More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked at a school with a group of 28 children. I was responsible of making sure I took them to get their snack, create new weekly activities for them, work on homework, supervise them at all times.

I also worked with 2 newborns through the age on 2 years old. I would change them, feed them, put them to sleep, bathe them, and just make sure all their clothes and room was clean and sanitized.

I worked with special needs children. My duties were to give them their medication, feed them according to their diet, bathe, change, and get them ready for activities.

Lastly took care of a young girl age from the age of 3- 8. We worked on lots of fun activities such as arts and crafts, educational games, made slime, also worked on homework assignments, made her meals, read books. Also, did a bit of light cleaning.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Drawing, reading, painting, building puzzles, educational games, playing outdoors, dancing, basically any fun activity!

The most important part about being a nanny...

To care for your child is the most important thing. For you to feel comfortable, your child to be safe and be there to help.

My experience with special needs children...

Worked with kids from 5-17 years old in a government home that have 7 kids living there. I, and the other 2 girls who worked there bathed them, dressed them, fed them, gave them there medicines. We had to make sure we were careful with everyone's diet.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Favorite moment was when I was taking care of a special needs teenager and she had a school event that day and I had the pleasure of fixing her up. Curled her hair, dressed her and put a little bit of makeup. I felt so proud to see her go to her school dance extremely happy with how she looked and felt.
