My experience with special needs children...
My little brother has down synodrome. The care and love that I give to him is unconditional. I have learned through taking care of him that children with special needs need patience and the ability to understand ASL to communicate in some cases but as my brother grew his speaking got way better and he was proud of himself and well as my family and I were.
