Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a certified Teacher’s Assistant in New York State. I have been working in a middle school for a few years now, mostly with nonverbal special needs children. I have also coached swimming to children ages 5-18. I have taught private swim lessons as well since age 14.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love spending time in the kitchen teaching kids how to cook and bake! I also enjoy spending time outdoors and being around wildlife. In addition, I like to read, do arts and crafts, and find local activities to do!

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked in special needs classrooms for the past few years. Most recently, I have worked with nonverbal children in a special needs classroom. I have also taught private swim lessons to kids with different disabilities since high school and have continued to do so each summer since.
