More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes babysitting and nannying for children ages 6 months to 14 years. I began babysitting in high school and continued throughout college, caring for children with a variety of needs and personalities. My experience includes caring for families with twins as well as children with autism, which helped me develop patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills.
In addition to supervising children, I assisted with daily routines, meal preparation, homework help, bedtime routines, and engaging age-appropriate activities. I strive to create a safe, structured, and positive environment where children feel comfortable and supported while giving parents peace of mind that their children are receiving attentive, reliable care.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities I enjoy doing with children include arts and crafts, outdoor play, reading books, imaginative play, puzzles, board games, and age-appropriate educational activities. I also enjoy taking children to parks, going on nature walks, helping with homework, and encouraging creativity through hands-on projects. I try to tailor activities to each child’s age and interests while creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment that supports their development and confidence.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a nanny is building a trusting, positive relationship with both the children and their parents. Children thrive when they feel safe, supported, and cared for, so I believe it’s important to provide a nurturing environment while maintaining consistency, patience, and clear communication. I also believe a nanny should be a dependable partner for parents, helping support their family’s routines, values, and goals while encouraging each child’s growth, confidence, and development.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for children with autism and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and adapting to each child’s unique needs. Through my childcare experience, I have learned to create a supportive and structured environment while following routines that help children feel comfortable and secure. I work closely with parents to understand their child’s preferences, communication style, and any specific strategies that help them thrive. My goal is always to provide compassionate, attentive care that allows every child to feel safe, respected, and included.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment as a nanny was when I left for my undergraduate studies at UNCC. The children I had been nannying made me a handmade goodbye card filled with pictures and drawings they created themselves. It was such a thoughtful and meaningful gift, and it reminded me of the special bond I had built with them. It’s a memory I still cherish 7 years later.
