-taught swimming lessons for two summers to children ranging 1.5 years old to 18 years old.

-have taught/ and am currently teaching piano and voice lessons to students ranging from 6 years old to 24 years old.

Anything! Swimming, yoga, games, homework, music, reading, local activities, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Safety! Not just physical safety, but emotional and psychological safety as well. These are formative years for a person's brain, and it is important to me that the neural pathways being formed reflect someone who treats themselves and others well, knows how to regulate their emotions, knows their worth, and so much more. I hope to be an example and an advocate for safety in children's lives. A true "Trusted Adult".
My experience with special needs children...
During my time with the school district I worked with many children with different special needs such as ADHD, anger issues, and social issues.
I also am currently a caregiver for a young adult with Rhetts Syndrome. She is nonverbal and requires basic care such as feeding, medication, and other supervision.
