Hello! I'm Carolyn Ovalle , currently 16 years old, and I'm so excited to start babysitting. I've always had a passion for working with kids, since I volunteered in Big Brother Big Sister for my school. I am very friendly and responsible when it comes to childcare. With experience from caring children, infants, toddlers, and preteens in my family. I know how to keep them pretty engaged, entertained and safe.
I love creating fun activities that are creative and educational, crafts and storytimes are my favorite too. I'm also happy to help with homework, lighthouse work, and preparing snacks or meals.

I volunteered in Big Brothers Big Sisters as a big sister which is a mentoring program that matches adults and young adults with children. It creates a one on one mentoring relationships. I helped little brothers/sisters work on their goals, step-by-step, and established a bonding and trust friendship.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love making a little games and telling stories. Having them use their brain to think about how to solve a problem or prevent a problem. if they ever need homework, I will absolutely help them with it. I love to teach kids to love themselves, and to always be true to themselves. I also love giving them tips on healthy living habits. Like to clean something right away if you dropped something or putting away toys after using them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important thing about being a nanny is being able to understand the baby of why they're crying or at least knowing and the different ways that could possibly be the reason why the baby is crying. Like if it's changing the diaper, if the baby wants food, milk, or just to be rocked. I feel like, for me, this would help me with my kids in my future.
