Activities I enjoy doing with children...
When they are infants there isn’t much else to do beside the obvious, but to read. I do read to them a lot. Each one of my charges grew into loving books and reading. They all entered preschool with very elevated ability to read and comprehend. Every aspect of careing for these babies I love. I raised three boys to men. Good men. But no grandkids in sight. So I would love to be considered has your nanny. Carroll
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being in a family setting. Working in a “home” having a mom and a dad for bosses. They are the best! We all work as a team and it’s never gone bad. I have strong relationships with all my past families.
My experience with special needs children...
I took care of a child who was on the spectrum. My own son was ADHD and had special needs educationally. I took care of a child who had seizures.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When my babies get to toddler time is full court press! so a good nanny responds and gets with the arts and crafts. “Marching” down the street. Puzzles. Water play. I go for it. But my most precious times are reading time. I have read to my babies for hours and they love it. And want more.
