More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have extensive childcare experience from working with children in several different settings. From ages 15–17, I worked in a daycare where I was responsible for feeding, diaper changes, nap times, activities, and helping children with homework.
From ages 18–20, I worked as an after-school teacher caring for children ages 1–7. I created fun and educational activities, helped with classroom curriculum, and managed groups of approximately 6–12 children at a time.
I currently work at an autism therapy center, where I provide therapy and support for children with autism. My responsibilities include managing behaviors, maintaining structured schedules, potty training, changing and feeding children, and creating fun, educational activities. Through these experiences, I've developed a lot of patience, responsibility, and confidence when caring for children of different ages and needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love creating fun and engaging activities for children that also support their development. I enjoy doing arts and crafts to encourage creativity and self-expression, as well as outdoor games to help children stay active and get their physical activity in. I also love playing age-appropriate board games with kids because they’re a fun way to practice things like communication, patience, and problem-solving. For younger children, especially ages 1–5, I enjoy using sensory toys and activities to help develop their motor skills and keep them engaged. I’m also always happy to come up with creative indoor activities so kids can have fun and stay entertained no matter the weather!
My experience with special needs children...
I also have experience working with children with autism and ADHD, including supporting children with different behavioral and developmental needs. Through my RBT experience, I’m comfortable managing challenging behaviors, teaching adaptive and daily living skills, and providing individualized support in a patient and structured environment.
